Respect to the Originals — Clyde & Jerry

Their songs moved the floor. Their message moved the crowd.

Clyde and Jerry helped build something timeless. This tribute is a small way to say thank you—and to carry the music forward.

Co-Lead Vocalist, Percussionist

JERRY "THE EQ" MILLER (RIP)

Jerry Miller was the voice that moved the room. As co-lead singer, he brought soul, power, and charisma to every show. With "The EQ" on the mic and Chuck beside him, The Untouchables delivered energy that reached from the stages of Silver Lake to all over the globe.

Jerry helped launch the band into the national spotlight, appearing on MTV and tours around the world. Even as time passed, Jerry remained a key member of the UTs family—his voice still echoing in every show.

Lead Guitarist & Principal Songwriter

Clyde "The City Gent" Grimes

Clyde Grimes was the musical architect behind The Untouchables. As lead guitarist and principal songwriter, he helped define the band’s sound—a fusion of ska, soul, punk, and mod that became the heartbeat of LA’s ska scene.

He wrote foundational tracks like “Free Yourself,” “Wild Child,” and “I Spy for the F.B.I.,” carrying sharp style, tight rhythm, and powerful intention. Clyde's work gave The Untouchables their unique edge—cool, urgent, and unforgettable.

“Clyde’s songwriting defined us; Jerry's voice brought it to life.”
